The place doesn't look like much when you see it from the outside. But the food here is great the service is awesome. I stayed in Wayland 4 days and I ate breakfest here 2x, both times the breakfest was awesome, reminded me of my great-grandma's cooking when I was young. Don't pass this place up when you are in town, and don't let the looks of the building make you drive by...stop, absolutely stop go in and you will experience some of the best food money can buy.

Doesn’t look like much, but it’s a sleeper with great homemade food. Enjoyed the spicy cow burger: 1/3 LB Hand Formed Patty, PepperJack Cheese, Bacon & Jalapeno Mayonaise along with a half order of sweet potato fries. First time for lunch and I’ll be back. Previously had fabulous breakfasts.

This place may be small but is big on atmosphere from the friendly, outgoing waitresses and to the very accommodating Diners there is only room for 17 diners at any given time but the people are always willing to move and make room for new people coming in The breakfast food is really good, what a little gem in Wayland, Michigan. I definitely recommend trying this place if you've never been here.

We’ve come here twice for my birthday breakfast now. Both times were really good experiences, food was obviously amazing, I’ve only had breakfast items but I can’t wait to try their burgers and other things. Their homemade raisin toast got my drooling too! Love their real authentic diner style, everyone working here was really really friendly too, as if they weren’t here to work but just to cook some good food to feed everybody and make them happy!

This little cafe was amazing. Everyone was super friendly - the staff and all the customers too. Everyone sits around a u shaped bar to be served. We had a ham and cheese omelette with homemade white toast. Phenomenal! The ham was the best ham my son and I have ever tasted. We also ordered the biscuits and gravy which was also amazing. I imagine everything from their menu is great. I would definitely stop here again if I'm in the area.

My wife and I stopped in so I could take on their massive three stack pancake challenge. While the challenge was a blast, what made it better was the food, environment, and staff. My pancakes were truly some of the best I’v ever had. The vibes are super friendly and the horseshoe bar encourages you to interact and mingle with other patrons. Kim, one of the owners was so kind and encouraging while I was doing the challenge and truly made the experience unforgettable. I can’t wait to go back and pay them a visit.
